Tees Valley Combined Authority is driving transformational change across the five boroughs of Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees.
Backed by an investment pot of £1.7billion, the organisation is tasked with creating jobs, growing the economy and changing lives through its responsibility and funding over areas such as business support; inward investment; transport; education, employment and skills; culture and tourism; and research and innovation.
We are a partnership of five authorities working closely with the business community and other partners to make local decisions to support the growth of our economy.
Our Society was formed as the Darlington Working Men’s Equitable Permanent Building Society to benefit local people from the very beginning. Today, the Society has nine branches spread across the North East, County Durham and North Yorkshire.
Our mission is to build a trusted, values-driven organisation, which continues to thrive, inspire its people and make a real difference to our members and the local community.
Spear-heads do outsourced sales for a range of companies and activities include cold calling, door knocking, white labelled LinkedIn, present dropping, networking, sales strategy's, and planning.
The training division of the company launched in 2024 and covers LinkedIn and sales. The sales training explores face-to-face selling, telesales, email marketing, direct mail, and digital.
Postpartum Matters is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to transforming the health and well-being of women, girls, and those assigned female at birth across the North East. Born out of a deep need for change, we tackle the stark health inequities seen in the our area, through the power of community care, peer support, and individualised services.
At the heart of our work is Women’s Health Hartlepool—a welcoming, one-of-a-kind space where women connect, heal, and thrive. Through free, peer-led workshops and drop-in sessions, we support all major life transitions, from puberty to pregnancy, menopause, and beyond. Together, we can build a future where no woman faces pregnancy, birth, or any stage of life alone—because at Postpartum Matters, community is care.
